“When my son Brandon was first diagnosed with autism, as a parent, I didn’t know what to do, or where to go. I asked his pediatrician and she said to reach out to Jillian at the speech center to set up some sessions. That made all the difference in the world for my son and my family. Brandon was three years old and non verbal and I was a nervous wreck. Jillian was great for both of us. She made Brandon comfortable in a new setting so that he could learn and as a parent, she also educated me about things I could do at home to help Brandon keep practicing what he learned in therapy. Jillian’s sessions were fun for my kiddo. He really looked forward to going to speech therapy. He didn’t consider her a therapist, he considered her a friend to play with. The way she interacted with him made it enjoyable. Fast forward eight years later, Brandon is in middle school and is testing at or above his grade level. He no longer gets speech therapy and a majority of his studies are in normal developing classrooms with his peers. We owe that to the seeds Jillian planted in him years ago. “Jillian Jasie is an exceptional speech-language pathologist!  Both of my children saw Jillian for speech and language services.  They both were different ages and had different needs.  What we appreciated so much was how she tailored her approach to each child to maximize acquisition and/or progress of the skills they needed.  Her approach didn’t put stress on the children, instead she focused on genuine connection with each of them to see their needs and help them grow.  They always knew she was working with them and for them and was their biggest champion in the session and outside of therapy.  We also appreciated how Jillian reviewed with us what she did in each session and tracked the children’s progress, adjusting her plan as needed to reach the goals we set when we started.  Not only did Jillian help us achieve our goals for speech and language, she is also a warm, patient, and kind person, which provides such comfort for the children and parents alike.”
